Group visits to the Norfolk Record Office

Picture of a group visiting the NRO

Small groups are welcome to visit the Norfolk Record Office (NRO) at the Archive Centre by arrangement.

Typically, visits include an introduction to the work of the NRO, an opportunity to view and discuss a selection of original documents and a full guided tour which includes a chance to see Conservators at work. The documents selected for discussion can reflect the particular interest of the group (in the history of their locality, for example) or offer a more general reflection of the breadth and depth of NRO holdings.

There is no charge for visits, though donations to further the work of the NRO are always gratefully received. Please contact the Archive Education and Outreach Officer to arrange a visit.
