Family and estate

Our major collections are listed below but we also hold thousands of small family and estate collections.

We have a list of minor collections on our online catalogue. They are listed under the prefix MC and some consist of only one or a few title deeds.

Large family and estate collections are usually divided into sections such as title deeds, manorial records, estate, probate, maps and plans, plus personal (diaries, correspondence).
